Applying Deposits to a Booking Date

In Mazévo, you can add deposits to an event. If the deposit applies to specific bookings, you can enter a date on the deposit to tie it to bookings on that same date.

Overview

Occasionally, the need to record a deposit and tie it to bookings on a specific date will arise.  To tie a deposit to a booking date, you can enter the apply date when creating a deposit record.

If the Apply for Bookings date is blank, Mazévo will use the deposit on the next invoice created for this event.  If a date is entered, Mazévo will not use the deposit until bookings on or after that date are included on an invoice. 

This Apply for Bookings date can be adjusted if the deposit has not been applied to an invoice.
