Manage Operations Improvements
Work Log Visible in Services View
You can now access the work log from the services listing in Manage Operations. Previously, it was only visible when viewing the list of bookings.
New Open Event Option
You can now open an event to view or edit its details from the Manage Operations Bookings and Services tabs. This requires that you have the event planner role. Previously, there was no way to open the event from Manage Operations.
New Refresh Option
There is now a button to refresh the data in Manage Ops. Previously, you had to refresh the entire browser window to see any updates.
New Export Option
You can now export the data in Manage Operations to Excel.
Setup and Teardown Time Visible on the Services Tab
You can now view the booking Setup and Teardown time on the services tab, which appears just like the event editor. Previously, only the booking time (or service time, if defined) was visible.
Academic Improvements
New Filters in Find Courses
You can now filter courses by the following fields: Buildings, Rooms, Room Tags, Status, Room Type, Time of Day, Course Type, Assigned Rooms Only, Unassigned Rooms Only, and Day of Week. Previously, you could only filter by instructor and subject.
Improved Visibility of SIS Room
You can now see the SIS room as a tooltip in Find Courses and the Course Editor.
Academic API Updates
There is a new call to return academic building and room codes
The import term call has a new option to ignore courses that are not matched to rooms in Mazévo
Other Improvements
Day At A Glance - View Tasks up to 60 Days Past Due
My tasks will display tasks that are up to 60 days past due before they disappear. Previously, it would only show tasks up to 30 days past due.
New Reply To Email Address for Scheduled Emails
Scheduled email addresses now have a reply to the email address that you configure in settings. Previously, replies to scheduled emails were sent to an unmonitored email address.
Messaging - Expanded Text Box Size
The text box size where you type your message has been expanded from one line to three lines.
Copy Event Questions and Their Answers to Clipboard
You can now click a button to copy the event questions and their responses to the clipboard. This allows you to display them on the customer confirmation by pasting them into the Event Notes or another notes field.
Manage Pricing - Filter Disabled Resources
Disabled resources are now hidden by default under Manage Pricing. You can view these resources by unchecking "hide Disabled" under filters.
Daily Operations Report & Event List - Filter by Contact
You can now filter the Daily Operations and Event List reports by a specific contact.
Daily Operations Report - By Booking Option
You can now print the Daily Operations Report by booking. This report will include a maximum of one booking per page, allowing you to create BEOs for multiple events simultaneously.
Mobile Improvements to Booking Update Notifications
The way you view event/booking changes from a mobile device has been updated. Previously, you could not always see details about a specific change when viewing on a phone browser.
Mobile-Friendly Improvements to My Approvals
If you approve events from your phone, you can view the event's bookings, resources, and event questions on your mobile device. Previously, you needed to be on a computer to see this information.
Accessibility Improvements
With this release, we have improved compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 to ensure our products are accessible to those with disabilities. Many of the accessibility improvements in this release will not be visible under normal conditions. However, if you use assistive technology such as screen readers or alternative input devices, these changes will make your work easier.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
We fixed several issues in this update, including the following.
- Add New Event would hang on mobile devices if a default status was not defined.
- Event Planners with Room Security Tags and Buildings defined on their profiles were not always getting email notifications when they had a new request to approve.
- Resetting an academic term was setting the SIS room assignments blank instead of what was in the SIS.
- The maximum weekly hours set in a user's security policy counted denied bookings against their allotted time.
- Mazévo would not save a standard search in My Events.
- Mazévo was overly sensitive to the building/room case when importing courses.
- Selecting a room tag when defining a task in Mazévo was not displaying correctly.
- Users received misleading notification messages when processing courses imported though the Mazévo API.
- In some instances, the incorrect contact was selected when sending invoices.
- Room availability was not displayed correctly for combo rooms with room components disabled.
