Mazévo's Latest Update: QR Code Bookings, Required Attendance, & More

We've made several enhancements based on your feedback! This update introduces new administrative tools, reporting improvements, QR code booking, and additional functionality to improve your experience with Mazévo.

Global Administrator Updates

  • New Organization Merge Utility – You can now merge two Mazévo organizations into one. This will consolidate all contacts, past events, and future events into a single organization.
  • New Account Information Page – A new page under the administrator menu displays the number of rooms configured in your system and your licensed room count. Additional account-related details, such as billing information for your institution's Mazévo account, will be added in future updates.

Report Updates

  • Event Questions on ConfirmationsA new option allows event questions to print automatically on confirmation documents. Previously, you had to copy and paste to have them displayed on the confirmation.
  • Grand Total Discounts – Confirmations now display a total discount across all bookings instead of only at the line-item level. You may enable this in Settings > Confirmation Templates.
  • Daily Ops Report Sorting – The daily ops report can now be printed with bookings sorted by event time (previously sorted by setup time).
  • Service Order Reports – The contact email address is now displayed on service order reports.
  • Room Cards Date Picker – A new shortcut lets you select a future date using "Tomorrow plus X days."

New Features

  • Print QR Codes to Book Rooms – Generate QR codes for specific rooms, allowing users to scan and book a room instantly from their phone. This feature can be accessed under Settings > Rooms.
  • Expected Attendance Requirement – You can now configure the system to require requesters to enter expected attendance for their events, preventing default values from being used unintentionally. Contact Mazévo support to enable this for your account.
  • Export Import Errors to Excel – When using import tools, you can now export error lists to Excel for easier troubleshooting. This applies to all import functions, including course imports.
  • Manage Operations Update – Items with a quantity of zero will no longer display a quantity value of 0, keeping consistency across the system.
  • Deleted Invoice Visibility – Deleted invoices can now be viewed directly in the invoicing tab of the Event Editor. Previously you had to go to Find Invoices to view them.

Bug Fixes

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) Issues – Fixed an issue where users could get stuck when logging in with SSO.
  • Branding on Vanity URLs – Vanity URLs now correctly display branding and custom logos if you have purchased the Custom Branding Option for your account.
  • Security Policy Dates on New Requests – Fixed an issue where the last booking date allowed on a security policy was not honored if Standard Security Policies were enabled on your account.
  • Re-importing Courses – The "Next" button is now always visible when re-importing courses.
