Email Updates, New Pricing Method and More

New Features

Email Event Contact

You can now email your customer from their event in Mazévo. Previously, the only way you could email an event contact from Mazévo was to send them a confirmation. Now, you can generate and send an email from their event that does not include the confirmation link. These messages will be automatically recorded in the events email history.

Select All Rooms in a Building When Adding a New Event

An Event Planner can now quickly select all rooms in a building when adding a new event to the system. Previously, each room had to be checked individually when reserving every room in a building. Note that this method will not automatically select combo rooms and rooms only available for some of the selected dates.

New Reserved Hours Pricing method

You can now have Mazévo calculate the hourly price for a room or resource based on reserved hours. Reserved hours are when an item is in use, including setup and teardown time. Previously, Mazévo would only calculate the hours of usage based on the event time (no setup/teardown).

Find Events Based on Pricing Plan

You can now use Advanced Find Events to search for events with a specified Pricing Plan.

Multi-Select Confirmation Email Attachments

You can now select multiple attachments simultaneously to add to a confirmation email. Previously, you had to open the screen and select each attachment separately.

New Login Help Link

There is a new link on the login page for users who are having trouble logging into Mazévo. This link will direct them to a page where they can request assistance. Mazévo Support will use the information they provide to put them in contact with a system administrator to get them the help they need.

Requesters Can Edit File Attachments

Your requesters can now edit file attachments they have uploaded as part of their request. Editing an attachment will return the request to pending and alert an event planner if it has already been approved. Previously, there was no way to edit attachments once a request was submitted.

Contact Phone and Email Visible to Secondary Approvers

When viewing pending approvals, your secondary approvers can now see the contact's email and phone numbers. This is handy if they need to contact the requester for more information. Previously, there was no way for secondary approvers to view this information.

Update Room Sign Profile and Device Type

You can now update an existing room sign device with a new profile or device type. Once you edit the device, your room sign will be updated automatically with the new room sign profile. Previously, once you defined a room sign device in Mazévo, there was no way to edit it.

View Only Requester Accounts Can Now See Event Details

Users associated with an event can now view event details from My Events. Previously, they could see events they were associated with but could not see individual bookings or services on the event.

View Event Names in the Requester Event Book

You can now allow your requesters to view the names of events in the Requester Event Book. Previously, the colored bar would say "In Use" when an event occurred. To enable this change for your account, please contact support@gomazevo.com.

New Request Received Email

Mazévo can now automatically send your requesters an email when they submit their request. This new transactional email lets the user know their request has been received and the status of their request (pending, confirmed, etc.). Please contact support@gomazevo.com to turn these emails on for your account.

Operations - Modify Alert Window for Booking Changes

Mazévo currently warns your operations staff if a booking has been changed (date/time, location, services, etc.) in the last 14 days. You can now change the number of days for the warning to more or less than 14 days, depending on what is best for your operation. To make this change from 14 days, please contact support@gomazevo.com with your request.

Bugs Fixed

We addressed several issues in this release, including the following:
  • The groupings function in Find Courses was not working correctly for some columns.
  • The room cards report showed the contact information instead of the organization when the report was published.
  • The copy resources function was not copying the hours correctly when using specific hours.
  • Mazévo was still sending emails for published reports that were deleted.
