We’re rolling out a series of enhancements to make your event management more streamlined and efficient.
Feature Updates
Multiple Answer Event Questions
Requesters can now select multiple responses to questions, offering greater flexibility than the previous single-response option.
Analytics - Organization Filters
Easily filter reports by organization to get the insights you need, whether for one group or multiple.
My Approvals - Hide Canceled Bookings
By default, canceled bookings will now be hidden in My Approvals, keeping your workflow clutter-free. You can choose to display them if needed.
Requester Event Book - Event Name Visibility
Requesters can now see the event names of organizational events they're associated with, even if they didn't submit the request.
Requester - Show My Events by Default
Requesters will only see events they have submitted by default, with the option to view events from other associated organizations.
Day At A Glance - Seven-Day Task View
The "My Tasks" section will now display upcoming tasks for the next seven days, improving your visibility and planning. Previously, this view only showed the current day's tasks and the last 60 days.
Academic Updates
Optimizer - Assign Rooms Based on Room Features
The Academic Optimizer now assigns classrooms based on requested room features, such as specific technology or room atributes. Feature preferences are set on the course or instructor, and the optimizer ensures they are met, automating the process of assigning ideal rooms.
Resource Retention During Course Re-imports
When re-importing a course that includes associated resources, such as equipment or services, Mazévo will now retain those resources. In the past, re-importing would erase these items, leading to extra work. Now, you can ensure that all relevant details remain intact with each course update.
API Updates:
Limit API Calls by Key
You can now specify which API calls a particular API key can access. This improves security by giving you granular control over which parts of your system are accessible to different keys.
Get Events and Questions API Call
This new API function lets you pull events with their associated questions and responses. This call can be helpful when integrating with third-party public calendar systems.
New External Service Provider Integration API Calls
We've introduced a set of API calls to facilitate external service provider integration, such as connecting with third-party catering apps. This allows the API to retrieve and update resource lists more seamlessly and get bookings and related resources.
Bug Fixes:
We fixed several issues in this release including the following.
- Resolved an issue where some requesters received an incorrect error message when making requests after a future date.
- Fixed a bug in the Academic Optimizer where assigning a TBA room caused the system to hang.
