What's New
Manage Operations - Services View
You can view a list of upcoming services in Manage Operations. This allows you to quickly review the schedule of services for the day, see their current state (not started, in progress, complete), and assign staff to your services. Previously, you could view the list of upcoming bookings but had to click on each to see the state and staff assignments.
Manage Certificates for Organizations
Your list of organizations in Mazévo now has a new way to manage insurance certificates. When you attach an insurance certificate or similar document to an organization, checking the certificate box will make it appear on the new Manage Certificate Page. This page lets you quickly review expired, about-to-expire (30 days), and current insurance certificates in a single list.
Scheduled Emails - By Date Option
You can now schedule emails based on the date of a booking. This means if a customer has multiple bookings on the same date, they will only get a single email prior to their event. Previously, there was only a "Days before each booking" option, which meant they would receive multiple emails if they had multiple bookings scheduled for the event on the same day.
Standard Find Events - Include All Statuses
The standard version of Find Events now has a new "Include All Statuses" check box. This allows you to quickly search for all events, including canceled ones. Previously, you had to use Advanced Find Events to find canceled bookings.
Daily Log Report -Instant Notification Option
You can now receive log reports instantly when they are submitted. Previously, you had to manually run or subscribe to a daily report to see log report submissions.
View Min & Max Capacity When Changing Rooms on My Events (Requesters)
When a requester updates their room from My Events, they will see the minimum and maximum capacity next to the room name. Previously, they had no easy way to know the room's capacity when changing rooms.
Room Availability Improvements for Requesters
Requesters viewing room availability using the Event Book or Book Room tools will now have a more accurate view. These tools consider any default setup and teardown time that will be applied to their request when submitted. Previously, additional setup and teardown time were added after they started making a request, which could lead to confusion if the extra time caused the room to no longer be available.
Messaging for Changing Security Policies
A new message tells you to log out and back in when updating a security policy. Logging out is the only way the security policy update is applied to a Mazévo Global administrator who wants to review and test their change.
Default Dashboard
There is a new default stats dashboard with three sample charts.
Get Finals API call
A new API call will return a list of final exam dates, times, and locations for a given term.
Bug Fixes
We fixed several issues in this release, including the following:
- Emailing a confirmation for specific bookings would sometimes display the wrong bookings in the email.
- Using a mazévo vanity URL and SSO simultaneously would not work if external users authenticated with an email address and password.
- In some circumstances, the Event Editor Approve and Deny buttons sent an email to the requester stating that their event had been approved, but the event status was not updated correctly. This only happened when the event planner didn't have access to all of the requested bookings.
- Assigning operations users to services was not working correctly in some cases.
