      Which Bookings Display on the Public Calendar?

      Mazévo has a built-in public calendar that can be added as a link from your main website. This article describes which bookings will appear on the calendar.

      Overview

      Mazévo has several tools that you can use to display events and bookings for public, non-authenticated users.  Typically, these users will access the calendar from an external website to Mazévo, your organization's website.  

      Mazévo has three different options for displaying public calendar data. They are:

      • Default Public Calendar 
      • All Events is a mobile version of the calendar available to requesters.
      • Calendar links defined by a Mazévo calendar manager

      Controlling which events display on these public calendars is described below.

      Public Calendar

      The default public calendar is a link located under account settings that you can add to an external website.  Mazévo uses the following criteria to display bookings on the public calendar:

      • The status of the booking is set to display on the public calendar.
      • The booking is not marked as private.

      All Events (Mobile)

      All Events is a public calendar available to mobile users of Mazévo.  Mazévo uses the following criteria to display bookings on the mobile app:

      • The status of the booking is set to display on the public calendar.
      • The booking is not marked as private.

      All Events is an optional feature that can be turned on or off by Mazévo support for your installation. 

       

      Calendar links defined by a calendar manager

      A calendar manager can define one or more custom calendar links that you can embed on external websites.  Mazévo uses the following criteria to display bookings on these calendars:

      • The Status of the booking matches one of the selected statuses for the calendar definition.
      • The booking matches the Locations defined on the calendar definition.
      • The booking matches one of the selected Event Types on the calendar definition.
      • The booking matches one of the selected Organizations on the calendar definition.
      • The booking matches one of the selected Organization Types on the calendar definition.
      • The booking is not marked as private.
