This article explains what account codes are and how to use them to add a general ledger account to rooms and resources.
Overview
If you want to track revenue by general ledger account, you can assign account numbers/codes to each room and each resource. When analyzing revenue, you have the option to do so by account code.
To add account codes to rooms:
1. Go to Settings > Pricing Plans. Mazévo displays a list of all the pricing plans defined in the system.
2. Click Manage Account Codes. You will see a tab that displays rooms and a tab that displays resources. Click the Rooms tab.
3. Select one or more rooms by checking the box beside their name. You can sort the list of rooms by any column and use search functionality as well.
4. Click Apply Account Code, type the account code, and click Save. This adds the account code to the selected rooms. Note: If a room already has an account code, it will be overwritten with the new one.
5. To remove an account code, click Remove Account Code rather than Apply Account Code.To add account codes to resources:
